1. I’ve never done this before. What is Suffern Rotary Designer Handbag BINGO?

It’s just like regular BINGO, but you play for designer handbags and purses.

2. How much does it cost?

$50 in advance; $55 at the door. Advance purchases can be made here.

3. How many BINGO cards do I get with my entry fee?

Your entry fee gets you 10 BINGO cards.

4. I want to increase my luck. Can I buy more BINGO cards?

Yes! You can buy packs of 10 additional cards for $10.00 each.

5. What are the prizes?

There’s a different prize for each game. We have brands such as Coach, Longchamp, Tory Burch, Kate Spade, Michael Kors, and Tumi.

6. Will there be a tricky tray?

Of course. There will be ten baskets with ten different themes.

7. Will there be a raffle?

It wouldn’t be a Suffern Rotary event without one. There will be a 50/50 drawing at the end of the evening.

8. Will there be surprises?

Maybe. They haven’t told us. You’ll have to come and see!

9. Will there be food and drinks?

Just what you bring. Bring some to share. It’s a party!

10. Where and when are you playing?

In the gym at Sacred Heart Church, 129 Lafayette Ave, Suffern, NY. Doors open at 6pm; games start at 7pm. Parking is free.

11. I can’t make it (Boo!). Is there another way to help?

We’ll miss you. You can be a sponsor. Sponsors help to cover our costs. Sponsorship information is here. Your sponsorship is tax deductible.

12. I went to the website to pay. Why are you asking for an additional 17% or more as a transaction fee?

It’s not us, it’s our processor. Zeffy.com processes credit card payments for non-profits without charge. They ask for an optional transaction fee so that they can continue their service. If you don’t want to pay it, open the drop-down box, click Other and enter your own amount (even $0.00).

13. What is Suffern Rotary Club and Suffern Rotary Community Fund?

For almost 100 years, the Suffern Rotary Club has supported our community. Whether it has been providing scholarships for Suffern High School graduates, supplying blood- drawing lounges for Good Samaritan Hospital, delivering Meals-on-Wheels, providing healthy weekend snacks to needy elementary school students to weekly collections for a local soup kitchen, our club members are always willing to step-up and help our community. Suffern Rotary Community Fund is our 501(c) 3 fundraising arm. Donations to Suffern Rotary Community Fund are tax deductible.

14. How will Suffern Rotary Community Fund use the proceeds from Suffern Rotary Designer Handbag BINGO?

We’ll use the net proceeds to support our scholarship programs for Suffern High School graduates. We are one of the largest private providers of these scholarships.

In 2025, we awarded $25,500 to deserving Suffern High grads!
